Wenn es eine Sache gibt, die ich an meinem Beruf ganz besonders liebe, dann ist es die, dass ich meine Vorliebe für Mode und schöne Räume verbinden kann. Klingt komisch – ist es eigentlich gar nicht 😉
Beides ist nämlich der Fall, wenn sich das Brautpaar dafür entscheidet, ihre Hochzeit in einem Altstadt-Hotel auszurichten, anstatt dafür eine klassische Weddinglocation zu wählen.
Jedes Hotel ist anders – besitzt seinen eigenen Flair, seinen ganz speziellen Stil und individuellen Duft; dasselbe trifft auch auf jede einzelne Braut zu.
Beides in Kombination lässt mein Herz höher schlagen und mich voll und ganz in meinem Element sein. Meist entstehen dabei nicht nur Bilder vom Getting Ready der Braut und wir shooten gleich noch den First-Look bzw einen Teil vom Brautpaarshooting vor Ort. Dazu eignet sich besonders gut die Brautpaar-Suite, Treppenhäuser, Aufzüge, Lounge-Räume oder man kann sich an der Hotelbar einen Chapagner genehmigen? Optionen gibt es auf alle Fälle jede Menge und ich für fast jede Idee zu haben 😉
Arielle und John – beide aus Florida / US – haben sich dazu entschieden, für ihre Hochzeit weit zu reisen und sich das Ja-Wort in der kleinen, romantischen Kapelle direkt auf der Festung Hohen Salzburg zu geben…und das bei frostigen Temperaturen mitten im Dezember. Das Glück war auf ihrer Seite und die Beiden hatten traumhaftes Wetter mit strahlendem Sonnenschein, was ein kurzes Brautpaarshooting im Freien (es hatte minus 7 Grad) und einen Spaziergang durch die Altstadt von Salzburg möglich machte. Die anschließende Hochzeitsfeier – samt Champagner-Empfang mit warmen Esskastanien, sowie das festliche Hochzeitsmenü abends fanden im wunderschönen Hotel Sacher statt.

Both are the case when the bride and groom decide to hold their destination-wedding in an old town hotel instead of choosing a classic wedding-location.
Every hotel is different – has its own flair, its own special style and individual scent; the same is also true for each individual bride.
Both in combination make my heart beat faster and I am completely in my element. Most of the time we not only take pictures of the bride’s getting ready, but also shoot the first look or part of the bride and groom shoot on location. The bridal suite, staircases, lifts, lounge rooms are perfect for this, or you can have a champagne at the hotel bar? In any case, there are plenty of options and I’m open to almost any idea 😉
Arielle and John – both from Florida / US – decided to travel far for their wedding and say “I do” in the small, romantic chapel directly on the Hohen Salzburg Fortress…and that in frosty temperatures in the middle of December. Luck was on their side and they had fantastic weather with bright sunshine, which made a short outdoor bridal shoot (it was minus 7 degrees) and a walk through the old town of Salzburg possible. The subsequent wedding ceremony – including a champagne reception with warm chestnuts, as well as the festive wedding menu in the evening – took place at the beautiful Hotel Sacher.
